- Not a franchise territory. Our office is on Wall Street, in Suffolk County.
- 12 services, one contractor

What we do
Everything the building needs, from one contractor
Most clients start with recurring janitorial and add the periodic work — carpet, floors, glass — as it comes due. It is the same crew and one point of contact either way.
-

Carpet Cleaning
Two methods, chosen by how fast the space has to go back into use. Extraction when the carpet needs a genuine deep clean, encapsulation when the floor has to be walkable in an hour.

Floor Care
Hard floors are the first thing a visitor reads and the last thing most buildings budget for. Stripping, sealing, waxing and burnishing on a maintenance cycle rather than a rescue basis.

Window Cleaning
Interior and exterior glass on a schedule that matches the season and the exposure, rather than whenever somebody finally notices.
See what is included -

Restroom Cleaning
The room your tenants and patients judge the whole building by, cleaned to a written standard rather than to whoever is on shift.

Day Porter / Matron
Somebody in the building during the working day, handling the things that cannot wait for the night crew.

Post-Construction
Rough, final and touch-up cleans that take a finished fit-out from trade-clean to tenant-ready.

Why Gold Coast
A local contractor, not a territory
Most of the national names competing for Long Island buildings are franchise networks selling a territory. The person who quotes your building is not the person who cleans it, and neither of them is the person you call when something goes wrong.
Gold Coast is owner-operated out of Huntington. Robert Goldrick answers the phone, walks the building and stays the point of contact afterwards.
- One contractor for janitorial, floors, carpet, glass, restrooms and day porters
- Consistent crews in your building, not a rotating pool
- Access, keys and alarm codes agreed in writing before the first shift
- Scope and frequency documented, so you know what you are paying for
Who we clean for
Six kinds of building, six different jobs
A medical practice and a warehouse are not the same contract. Frequency, timing and method all change with the building.
-

Office Buildings
Multi-tenant and single-tenant offices, from a single suite to a whole building — the work most of our week is made of.
How we work here -

Medical & Healthcare Facilities
Medical and dental practices, clinics and outpatient offices — cleaned around the appointment book rather than through it.
How we work here -

Schools & Educational Facilities
Schools, preschools, training centres and administrative buildings — term-time upkeep and the summer cycle that everything else depends on.
How we work here -

Retail Spaces
Stores, showrooms and retail centres, cleaned outside trading hours so the floor is right when the doors open.
How we work here -

Industrial & Warehouse Facilities
Warehouses, light industrial units and distribution facilities — floor area, welfare space and the offices inside the plant.
How we work here -

Hospitality & Restaurants
Dining rooms, restrooms, entrances and glass for restaurants, cafes and hospitality venues — front of house, between services.
How we work here
Where we work
Suffolk County first, and honestly so
We are in Huntington. Most of our work is within about half an hour of the office — Melville, Hauppauge, Commack, Smithtown, Northport, Deer Park — and we work west into Nassau regularly. Crews also take on buildings in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Westchester.
If your building is somewhere our response time gets longer, we would rather tell you at the walkthrough than win the contract and disappoint you on it.
How it works
From first call to first shift
-
You call or send the form
Tell us the building, the town and roughly what you need. Two minutes.
-
We walk the building
Usually within the week. Robert Goldrick attends. We look at floor types, access and how the building actually runs.
-
You get a written scope
What is cleaned, how often, and what it costs. In writing, so it can be compared against anyone else’s.
-
We start
Access and keys agreed first. Consistent crew from the first shift onward.
Common questions
What buyers usually ask first
What types of commercial properties do you clean?
Office buildings, medical and dental practices, schools and educational facilities, retail stores, industrial and warehouse facilities, and restaurants and hospitality venues. Gold Coast Building Services is a commercial contractor — we do not clean private homes.
What areas do you serve?
Suffolk County and Nassau County first. Gold Coast Building Services is based at 223 Wall Street in Huntington, New York, and most of our work is within about half an hour of that office — Melville, Hauppauge, Commack, Smithtown, Northport, Deer Park and the surrounding towns. We work west into Nassau regularly, and take on commercial buildings in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Westchester County.
Do you provide after-hours cleaning?
Yes, and for most commercial buildings it is the default. Offices are typically cleaned in the evening or overnight so the space is ready in the morning and nobody works around us. Retail is cleaned before opening or after closing, and medical practices are worked around the appointment schedule.
Can cleaning be scheduled around our business hours?
Yes. We set the schedule to how the building actually runs rather than to a standard shift. If your practice runs late on Thursdays or your warehouse ships on Saturdays, the schedule accommodates that. Where a job genuinely cannot be done outside your operating hours, we will say so before you contract rather than after.
How do commercial cleaning estimates work?
We walk the building with you, agree what is in scope and how often each area needs attention, and put a written price against it. The walkthrough is free and carries no obligation. Pricing depends on the areas covered, the frequency and the floor types involved — which is why we walk the space rather than quote from square footage alone.
What is included in recurring janitorial service?
A recurring programme is built from the areas your building actually uses — typically offices and workstations, restrooms, kitchens and break rooms, common areas and entrances, and trash and recycling removal. Periodic work such as carpet extraction, floor stripping and waxing, and window cleaning is scheduled on a longer cycle alongside it.
