Who we are

Gold Coast Building Services is a commercial cleaning and janitorial contractor based at 223 Wall Street #249, Huntington, NY 11743. We clean business premises across Suffolk County and Nassau County on Long Island — offices, medical and dental practices, schools, retail stores, industrial facilities and hospitality venues. We do not clean private homes.

The business was founded in 1999 as Gold Coast Carpet Cleaning, and grew from carpet work into full-building commercial cleaning as clients asked for one contractor rather than several.

The owner answers the phone, walks the building, and is still the person you call eighteen months later.

What owner-operated actually means here

Robert Goldrick owns the business and runs it. He takes the call, attends the walkthrough and prices the work himself. There is no sales team quoting buildings they will never see again, and no account manager between you and the person who can actually change something.

Most of the national brands competing for Long Island buildings are franchise networks. A franchise sells a territory, and the incentives that follow from that are not the same as the incentives of a business whose owner lives fifteen minutes from your building.

One contractor for the whole building

We run 12 service lines across 6 building types — recurring janitorial plus carpet, hard floors, windows, blinds, restrooms, day porters, post-construction, tenant turnover, pressure washing and emergency response. That is a broader published line than any independent competitor in our Long Island market research, and it exists so a building manager can hold one relationship instead of four.

Where we work

Suffolk County first — Huntington, Melville, Hauppauge, Commack, Smithtown, Northport, Deer Park and the surrounding towns — and west into Nassau regularly. We also take on buildings in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Westchester County. See the full service area.

You will not find testimonials, review counts, star ratings or client logos on this site, because we have not yet collected any we can stand behind. When we have, they will appear here with names attached. In the meantime, ask us for references and our certificate of insurance before you contract — with us or with anyone else.
